Kitchen Geekery launch update

It's been a three weeks now since Kitchen Geekery went live, and I am thrilled by the reaction from the food and blogging community.

Here are some numbers;

  • 1,270 New Twitter followers
  • 250+ Tweets posted
  • 60 Site code updates and fixes
  • 19 Facebook Likes
  • 9 New recipes added
  • 9 New articles
  • 2 Guest articles
  • 5 Guest recipes
  • 15 Site comments
  • 48 Email conversations with readers

There has also been hundreds of retweets, comments and goodwill messages over Twitter, some of these numbers might not sound too impressive, but it's going much better than I ever could have hoped.

There has also been some progress since the site went live too;

  • A revamped homepage design, listing more contents and now the recipes section
  • The creation of banners to help get the word out about Kitchen Geekery
  • New social sharing tools in the footer
  • A significant improvement to the recipe section

So what do I have planned for this month?

  • More recipes
  • More articles
  • Improved design for the recipe and article homepages
  • RSS Feeds
  • Two mini-sites

As always I want to hear from everyone. What you like, and what you don't, and what the site needs to become an essential bookmark for people with a real interest in food and everything about it.

Kind Regards,

Darryl

P.S A big thank you to Alex in particular for all his help and tweeting.
