caipiroska cocktail
Caipiroska, Caipivodka or Caipirodka are the names of the same Brazilian cocktail made from vodka and sugar syrup and lime juice.
Caipiroska is very similar to another national drink of Brazil – Caipirinha. The only difference between these two cocktails is the latter uses Brazilian cachaça instead of vodka.
It is rumoured that the Caipiroska created in London when a Barman ran out of cachaça whilst making Caipirinha and successfully replaced it with vodka. The cocktail has went on to become almost as popular as the original Caipirinha.
