The Southside cocktail is a refreshing gin-based drink with its sweet notes of citrus and mint from mint leaves muddled with lime juice and mixed with simple syrup. It is believed that the Southside cocktail was named after the South Side district in Chicago and was a favourite of the infamous New York Gangster Al Capone.
